The regaetón, graffiti, and urban culture of Medellín have infected the most serious institutions (such as the Museum of Modern Art of Medellín, or MAMM, with the curatorship of Emilio Valdez) and the work of local fashion designers, such as Jorge Orozco. The more adventurous can also throw themselves into graffiti in the favelas of La Comuna Trece or clandestine parties in the wineries on the outskirts of the city, where the atmosphere may be denser, but very Medallo.
